Reserve Sailors Gear Up for Battle with MARLIN Training’s Advanced Preparation
Twice a year, Reserve Sailors from the Navy’s operational fleets converge at the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. The occasion is the MARLIN Operational Level of War training event. This initiative is described as a “power drill weekend” by Capt. Kyle Powers, commanding officer of the Navy Reserve Commander U.S. 5th Fleet Current Operations.
