Swimming Ban in Feodosia Due to Sewer Collector Accident

Starting July 4, 2024, temporary restrictions on swimming and water sports activities have been implemented on the city beaches of Feodosia due to an emergency situation at the sewer collector.

The Interregional Directorate of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol has organized monitoring of sea water quality in recreational water use areas. These measures are aimed at ensuring the safety of residents and visitors of the city.

Swimming on the beaches of Feodosia will be resumed after receiving the results of studies on the compliance of sea water quality with hygienic standards. Until further notice, everyone is advised to refrain from swimming in the sea.

We ask residents and visitors of the city to observe the prescribed safety measures and wait for the official notification regarding the resumption of swimming.
