The Navy Week program aims to educate Americans in areas without a strong naval presence about the Navy’s operations and contributions. “We are thrilled to visit these 15 locations next year,” said Cmdr. Julie Holland, NAVCO’s director. The program ensures direct interaction between Sailors and the public through activities like school visits and volunteering at local non-profits.

Highlight events during Navy Weeks include performances by the U.S. Navy Band and the U.S. Navy Ceremonial Guard, offering communities a glimpse into naval traditions. Lt. Cmdr. Miranda Williams, the Navy Week program manager, expressed enthusiasm for bringing talented Sailors to cities nationwide. “Navy Weeks highlight our talented Sailors and create opportunities for public discussions on the Navy’s pivotal role,” she noted.

NAVCO has executed over 300 Navy Weeks in 95 different markets over the past two decades, solidifying its position as a notable outreach program. For more details about 2025 Navy Weeks, individuals can reach out to Lt. Cmdr. Miranda Williams through her official navy email.
