At first glance, the Hype-R might not seem drastically different from existing yachts. Yet, it stands apart with its focus on luxury and modern lifestyle, seamlessly transitioning between entertainment and relaxation to cater to a youthful audience.

Designed for the Feadship’s Young Designer of the Year competition, the lavish and future-proof Hype-R spans 220 feet and addresses contemporary challenges while maintaining the timeless charm and style of traditional yachts. “I envision the future of yacht design to continue its current trajectory,” notes Davide.

Blending tradition with modernity, the Hype-R is crafted to appeal to digitally-savvy young clients. Davide found the perfect fusion of his love for cars and architecture in yacht design, resulting in a vessel that feels like a sports car for the waters. Influenced by legendary designers like Pininfarina and Giugiaro, the Hype-R boasts sleek lines and innovative features.

The upper deck of the Hype-R features a sunset lounge, offering panoramic views of the ocean as residents watch the sun set over the horizon. The sundeck, designed for the tech-savvy owner, includes a living room and private study. Each space serves a distinct function, such as the beach area, which can host movie evenings or parties in the discotheque.

The standout feature of Davide’s yacht may be the entertainment-cum-beach area, but it’s the youth-focused vision of the Hype-R that sets it apart. This innovative concept is poised to set a new trend in the yacht industry, making luxury yachting accessible and appealing to a younger generation.
