Navy Ousts Commanding Officer of Talent Acquisition Group San Antonio

Rear Adm. James P. Waters, commander of Navy Recruiting Command, has relieved Cmdr. Stacey O’Neal from her duties as commanding officer of NTAG San Antonio. This decision follows a loss of confidence in O’Neal’s ability to perform in her role. She has since been reassigned to Naval Medical Forces Development Command at Joint Base San Antonio.

Capt. Tommy L. Edgeworth, deputy commander of Navy Recruiting Region West, has temporarily stepped in to lead NTAG San Antonio. The command is tasked with attracting top talent across Central and South Texas to join the U.S. Navy.

NTAG San Antonio oversees more than 30 Navy recruiting stations. The Navy reiterates its dedication to the continued success of NTAG San Antonio’s mission.
